Hand-picked Pinot Noir fruit, 50% clone 777, 25% clone 115 and 12.5% each clones 5 and 667 from Pisa, cool-fermented in stainless-steel with a portion in seasoned oak after 24 hours skin contact to 13.65% alc. and 9.44 g/L RS. Bright pink colour with purple hues, lighter on edge. This has a fresh, vibrant, mouthwatering bouquet of raspberries, red cherries and cranberries forming a concentrated core, unveiling nuances of herbs and confectionary and refreshing mineral elements. Medium-dry to taste and medium-bodied, the flavours of raspberries and cream and cherries are upfront and build to form a soft-textured core and line. This has good weight and presence. The mouthfeel is fresh and juicy, balanced by light, thirst-quenching acidity. The fruit sweetness and residual sugar is enriched by subtle confectionary lift, and carries the wine to a soft finish of raspberries and cream. This is a refreshing, off-dry rosé with good presence and some richness.
