36 Bottles Central Otago Pinot Gris 2010

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Otago
Review Date : 09-Jun-2013
Very pale straw colour with youthful, pale green hues, this has an elegant, tight ly bound, very finely expressed bouquet of white stonefruits and minerals lifted a little with floral notes. Off –dry to taste, this is a very fine-featured wine with tight, linear, stonefruit and mineral flavours along with a honied lusciousness. A little alcohol warmth is noticeable, but this adds a little more generosity to the wine. Fruit from Lowburn in the Cromwell Basin, cool-fermented to 14.0% alc. and 6 g/L rs. Dan Dineen of the Maude winery was the consultant winemaker. Serve with seafood, poultry and pork over the next 4-5 years. 17.5/20 May 2011 RRP $22.00 Disclaimer: This wine is distributed by ‘Wine2Trade’, the company under which ‘Raymond Chan Wine Reviews’ operates
