3 Terraces Gladstone Wairarapa Pinot Gris 2010

Pinot Gris from New Zealand - Wairarapa & Wellington
Review Date : 09-Sep-2011
Brilliant pale straw-yellow colour, this has a fresh, bright and intense nose of yellow stonefruits, with notes of ripe, savoury tropical fruits, flint and minerals. Medium-bodied and dryish to taste, the fruit flavours of yellow stonefruits and minerals have good concentration and an unctuous mouthfeel. Some secondary, earthy elements are beginning to show adding interest. This wine is well balanced with crisp, clean acidity. Fruit from the ‘Dakins Road' site, hand-picked and cool-fermented to 14.0% alc. and 5 g/L rs. Serve with antipasto, poultry and pork over the next 2-3+ years. 17.5-/20 Sep 2011 RRP $14.95
