The second bottling under Lot L144. Fruit from the ‘Boyd’, ‘Cliffs’, ‘Dakin’s Road’ and ‘Home’ blocks, cool-fermented in stainless-steel to 12.77% alc. and 1.6 g/L RS, the wine aged 2 months on lees. Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with slight green hues, near colourless on rim. The nose is fresh with an aromatic amalgam of gooseberries, subtle pungent passionfruit and tropical fruit elements, hints of minerals and a suggestion of savoury reduction. The acidity is ripe and balanced, providing energy and drive, carrying the palate to an aromatic, lifted, dry finish.
