Wrights Vineyard and Winery is celebrating their 20 years of winemaking in Gisborne.
Natural Wine Co. launched in 2012, they are committed to sustainability to the environment. Their wines are made from grapes using natural farming methods, practising organic and biodynamic methods. All wines are certified organic by AsureQuality and vegan friendly.

Natural Wine Co. Sauvignon Blanc 2020, GisborneSauvignon Blanc from New Zealand - GisbornReview Date : 23-Jul-2020Bright, even, light straw-yellow colour. The nose is gently-full with aromas of ripe stonefruit, tropical passionfruit, fresh green herbs and subtle spices. Dry to taste, this is soft and rounded in expression, voluminous aromas of passionfruit, stonefruit and citrus, uplifted by delicate green herbs and spices. The palate is round with gentle, but mouthwatering acid flows with good energy and intensity. The fruit is clean and pure with concentration; there are savoury tone and citrus zest on the finish added interest. This is an elegantly soft and rounded Sauvignon Blanc with good concentration of ripe fruit and mouthwatering acid on a gently rounded palate. Match with asparagus with duck egg and whitefish over the next 2 years. Certified organic by AsureQuality. Vegan friendly. Natural Wine Co. Pinot Gris 2020, GisbornePinot Gris from New Zealand - GisbornReview Date : 23-Jul-2020Bright, light straw-yellow, slightly paler on the rim. The nose is softly-full with aromas of ripe pear, citrus and zest, along with a dusty layer of perfume. Off-dry to taste, medium-bodied, the palate has power, with flavours of ripe sweet pear, citrus and peels, along with white florals and a dusty layer of phenolic. The fruit is voluminous and ripe, with balanced, fresh acidity. The palate has alcohol power, and weight lifted the spice element. The light dusting of phenolic carries the fruit to a dry, light textured finish. This is an off-dry Pinot Gris, with body and richness, carry flavours of ripe pear, citrus and subtle floral on a dusty phenolic texture palate. Match with pork and spicy Asian cuisine over the next 2 years. Fruit from Manutuke Coastal Vineyard. Handpicked, indigenous yeast fermented to 13% alc. Certified organic by AsureQuality. Natural Wine Co. Pinot Rosé 2020, GisborneRosé from New Zealand - GisbornReview Date : 23-Jul-2020Bright, light salmon-pink, even colour throughout. The nose is youthful and soft with nuances of strawberries, cherries hints of red florals and delicate spices. Medium-bodied, medium-dry to taste, flavours of strawberries and cherries, along with quince paste entwined with hints of subtle peppery spice and red florals. The palate is fresh, not cloying, balanced by mouthwatering acidity. The fruit flows smoothly to a lush finish. This is a lush and smooth rosé with nuances of juicy fruit, florals and spice. Served as an aperitif and with charcuteries over the next 2 years. Pinot Noir fruit from Manutuke Coastal Vineyard. Handpicked, socked on skins overnight. Indigenous yeast fermented to 12.5% alc.
