VNO 2014 Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay

13-Nov-2015
The VNO range of wines of Constellation Brands was launched in 2012 with a collection of wines from the 2011 vintage comprising a Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, Hawke’s Bay Pinot Gris, Marlborough Pinot Noir and a Barossa Valley Shiraz. The style and packaging was designed to be contemporary and the wines made for busy consumers to "log off” with. The range has been extended to other varieties, and also includes a selection of lighter, lower alcohol ‘Skinny’ wines. Also new is the thermo label technology which is activated when the wine is sufficiently chilled for proper enjoyment. The Hawke’s Bay wines are made by Brett Fullerton at the ‘Corner 50’ winery, and the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc wines made by Dave Edmonds at the ‘Drylands’ winery. Here, I review the 2014 Hawke's Bay Chardonnay. www.vnowines.com
