The ‘Two Tails’ brand was first made in 2004 by Marlborough wine industry stalwarts Russell Hooper and Sarah Inkersell to showcase regional style and offer accessibility. The brand was a subsidiary to their super-premium ‘Fairbourne’ label, but has now taken a life of its own, requiring a degree of separation and independence. Originally only with a Sauvignon Blanc, Two Tails now includes a Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir, and has different markets, channels and clientele to the top label. Here, I review the new 2015 Two Tails Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. www.twotails.co.nz
