Trinity Hill 2014 and 2013 Hawke’s Bay Releases

26-Jun-2014
Trinity Hill is entering into a further stage of growth with the investment into the company by American wine business owner Charles Banks, announced earlier this year. There is strength from this input building on the appointment of Michael Henley from Craggy Range as CEO. Founder John Hancock provides his very experienced overseeing eye and continues his international and national ambassadorial role, and winemaker Warren Gibson adds to his track record of making some of Hawke’s Bays best wines. With the outstanding 2013 and 2014 vintages coming on stream, we are sure to see Trinity Hill shine especially well over the next few years. Here, I review the 2014 Rosé and main 2013 releases under the ‘white label’ Hawke’s Bay range. They are made from sites around Hawke’s Bay including the home base of the Gimblett Gravels, and provide a preview of the quality of the vintage generally, as well as what is to come in the higher echelon Trinity Hill wines. www.trinityhill.com
