Tohu 2015 and 2014 Releases

12-Nov-2015
Established in 1998, the ‘Tohu’ wine label has been a showcase for the Maori-owned Kono Beverages group and for the larger Kono business which has considerable seafood and horticultural interests. The Tohu wines draw their fruit primarily from the company’s vineyards in the Awatere and Waihopi Valleys, but Tohu also incorporates fruit sourced from other districts in Marlborough and from other regions. The wines are made at the winery in the Awatere Valley by the very experienced Bruce Taylor and his team. They are of high quality, with many of them winning top awards at wine shows. The wines reflect the Maori tradition of kaitiakitanga, guardianship of natural resources through the company’s commitment to sustainable use of the land. www.tohuwines.co.nz
