Tiki ‘Koro’ Central Otago Pinot Noir 2011

07-Mar-2013

The ‘Koro’ brand from Tiki Wine and Vineyards has been introduced to differentiate the label from the two other ranges of Tiki Estate and Tiki ‘Single Vineyard’. Koro translates as grandfather in Maori, and relates to proprietor Royce McKeans’s family heritage and his great grandfather Chief Tiki Tere Mihi. In earlier releases, the flagship Pinot Noir was referred to as the ‘Black Label’. Here I review the new release ‘Koro’ Pinot Noir 2011. www.tikiwine.com
