te Pa Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2012

11-Nov-2013
te Pa achieved immediate success with its first release of its Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc from the 2011 vintage, the wine topping Cuisine magazine’s tasting. The proprietors, the Macdonald family claim an intimate association with the land for 800 years, especially in the Wairau Bar. Haysley Macdonald has 140 ha of vines, planted there on the coast since 2003. Their contract supply for Pernod-Ricard enables the te Pa wine to be made at Brancott Estate by Liam McElhinney, who has made all the wines to date. www.tepawines.com
