Spanish Wine Selection from Macvine International

11-Aug-2016
While it is well-recognised that Spanish wines offer some of the best quality to value ratios, it is another matter to import a range to show it successfully. Michael Jemison’s distribution company Macvine International does so, with several brands that have a very strong following in New Zealand now. Here, I review a selection from Bodegas Muriel in Rioja, Bodegas Aragonesas in Campo de Borja, the Real Compania de Vinos who work with wines from Castilla, and Bodegas Castano in Yecla. These companies and regions offer wines of full flavour which are very accessible. www.macvine.co.nz
