SOHO Wines Show Diversity, Breadth and Quality

11-Oct-2018

Rachael Carter has developed her SOHO Wine Co. label to be multi-tiered to be able to work in practically all reseller channels. This required diversity and breadth in the range, which she has achieved with a special range for On-Premise (the Generation-Y range), the accessible ‘White Collection’ wines and the premium ‘Black Collection’ with a flagship ‘Blue Blood Collection’. Recently she introduced the 'Pink Sheep' range, where from sales a portion of the funds go to nominated charities, initiated by mental health. Rachael’s other approach is to have three different growing regions – Waiheke Island, Marlborough and Central Otago, with three dedicated winemakers in each region – James Rowan, Dave Clouston and Grant Taylor. All these factors have resulted in a marvellous portfolio. Here, I review a selection of SOHO wines that show diversity and breadth. www.sohowineco.com
