SOHO 2014 ‘Westwood’, and 2013 ‘Havana’ and ‘McQueen’

01-Jul-2014
The concept of three winegrowing regions with three top winemakers who are specialists in each of those regions is a formula unique to Rachael Carter’s SOHO Wine Company. It could easily be argued there are advantages from the winemakers’ familiarity with each of their home districts quite possibly resulting in higher quality wines being made. Like the image of the SOHO brand, the winemakers are also cutting edge, and making contemporary and exciting styles. Here I review three new wine releases, one from Waiheke Island, one from Marlborough and one from Central Otago, made respectively by James Rowan, Dave Clouston and Grant Taylor. www.sohowineco.com
