Sileni Estates Cellar Selection Rosé 2016

11-Oct-2016
The rosé category is taken seriously by Sileni Estates with their ‘Cellar Selection’ bottling made from pressed off and saigneed Merlot juice one of the most popular wines in the portfolio. The wine is complemented by a rosé, also under the ‘Cellar Selection’ tier, made from Cabernet Franc, the wine destined for alternative and on-line sales (click here for my review). The two wines, made from different varieties are instructive to compare, not only from their varietal perspectives, but from their production, this wine involving juice directly pressed off, as well as saigneed juice. Here is my review of the ‘regular’ rosé, made from Merlot. www.sileni.co.nz
