Sacred Hill ‘HALO’ 2012 Whites

18-Jun-2013
The Sacred Hill brand, established by the Mason family in 1986 has grown to be one of the most significant producers in New Zealand. David Mason heads the business with long-time winemaker Tony Bish by his side. The brands under the Sacred Hill umbrella are carefully targeted at specific markets, and support each other. The HALO wines were created to enable greater accessibility while building in some ‘Old World’ interest, thus making them particularly suitable for the on-premise consumer, but they have grown to become accepted widely now. The HALO wines are named after the halo pictured on the Sacred Hill logo. Here, I review a selection of 2012 vintage white wines under the HALO label. www.sacredhill.com
