  Full, very dark, deep, purple-hued black-red colour. The nose is soft, but well-concentrated with a core of ripe blackberry and blueberry fruit along with dark-red plum aromas, entwined with liquorice, spices and eucalypt, along with minty elements. The fruit is tightly bound with good intensity. Medium-bodied, the palate features a fine core of ripe black and blue berried fruits. Layers of plum unfold, with eucalypt, mint and cedar detail. The fruit is underpinned by soft-textured, fine-grained tannins, lending structure and linear drive, with ripe, integrated acidity contributing to the energy. The wine leads to an elegant, soft-textured, dry finish of black fruits and eucalyptus notes. This is an elegantly concentrated Shiraz with ripe black fruit and eucalypt flavours and a fine, grainy mouthfeel. Serve with barbecued and roasted red meat dishes over the next 4+ years.
