Parnasse Syrah 2014 and Bernard Schurr CDR Villages 2014

03-Dec-2015
The generous and warm southern French reds of the Languedoc-Roussillon and the Southern Rhone provide New Zealand wine drinkers with styles of wines that are totally complementary to what are produced locally. Their soft and sweet fruit, lower acidity and grainy textures are perfect for hearty barbecued fare, and their affordability can give shivers to many producers of fine New Zealand wine. Procure Liquor import a good selection of such French reds. Here, I review two from their portfolio. www.procureliquor.co.nz
