Nevis Bluff Central Otago Pinot Noir 2014

12-Oct-2016
The Nevis Bluff wines are named after a jutting, jagged rocky outcrop at the eastern end of the Gibbston Valley. The company, owned by Graham Wilkinson, and Merrilll and John Holdsworth are Pinot specialists sourcing their fruit from the ‘L’Attitude’ vineyard in Lowburn, contracting veteran winemaker Dean Shaw to craft the wines. Variations of Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir broaden the portfolio, but the Pinot Noir is the flagship. Here I review the 2014 vintage. www.nevisbluff.co.nz
