Neudorf Moutere Pinot Noir 2012

24-Jul-2014
The thoughtful attention to detail paid by Tim and Judy Finn and their viticultural and winemaking staff, along with over three decades of winegrowing experience have resulted in the Neudorf range of wines figuring among the best in New Zealand. Chardonnay is the signature variety, but I believe Pinot Noir is as outstanding. The ‘Moutere’ bottling of Pinot Noir reflects the terroir of the district faithfully, and its consistency in doing so makes it a classical wine of Nelson and New Zealand. It has a proven track record of ageing extremely well, adding to the strength of its pedigree. Here, I review the new release 2012. It is a worthy continuation of a great label. www.neudorf.co.nz
