Naked Vine 2013 Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris, and 2012 Pinot Noir

29-Aug-2013
At the end of last year, I reviewed the certified BioGro organic Naked Vine wines from the 70 ha ‘Patriarch’ vineyard in the Upper Wairau Valley which was established in 2008. (Click here to see my reviews.) The aim of the owners is to make "quality, flavoursome organic wine at a reasonable price level”, and it appears they are achieving this. The wines are made by John Jackson at the Marlborough Vintners facility. Here, I review the new release 2013 Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris and 2012 Pinot Noir. www.patriarch.co.nz
