Mud House 2015 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris

05-Nov-2015
Under the Accolade umbrella, the Mud House brand and operation seems stronger than ever. The vineyard supply remains as it was, with only the change in ownership. The teams overseeing the winemaking and viticulture ae experienced and long-standing. Ben Glover is the group winemaker and Nadine Worley and Cleighton Cornelius as the Mud House winemakers. Stephen Dempster is the New Zealand Viticulturist and Tracy Taylor the Grower Viticulturist, working with vineyard managers Nev Gane in Marlborough, Tom Bullen in Central Otago and Jean-Luc Dufour in the Waipara Valley.

The branding and tiers have been tightened up with the consolidation into the ‘Mud House’ range and ‘Single Vineyard’ range. Just this year, the packaging of the ‘Mud House’ range has been change to tie the brand close with a more modern and fresh look. The green of old has been replaced by white. Here, I review the new 2015 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris releases. www.mudhouse.co.nz
