Mount Langi Ghiran, Willunga 100 and Xanadu ‘Exmoor’ Australian Wines from Macvine

12-Aug-2016
Michael Jemison’s wine distribution operation has a deep and broad range of imported wines in the portfolio. Some of the brands are classical and iconic, whereas others are eclectic and cultish. They all share the relationship that exists between Michael and the wine brand principals. Included in the Australian labels is Mount Langi Ghiran, best-known as maker of excellent cool-climate Shiraz in the Grampians district of Victoria; Willunga 100, a contemporary McLaren Vale producer created as a collaboration between David Gleave MW of Liberty Wines and John Ratcliffe of Oddbins; and Xanadu, one of the pioneers of the Margaret River district in Western Australia. Here, I review wines from these three brands. www.macvine.co.nz
