  Bright, light straw-yellow colour with some depth, pale edged. This has a fresh and eleganr nose with aromas of white and yellow stonefruits along with subtle pear and floral nuances, along with redidual fermentation esters lift. Some flinty lees complexities emerge in the glass. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is finely presented with lively, lifted white and yellow stonefruit flavours, pear notes and florals, along with refreshing and crisp acidity. The acidity lends a zesty and bright mouthfeel and the wine follows a light, textured thread and line. The wine is carried by the acidity to a fresh, firm, lingering finish with subtle white stonefruit flavours. This is a crisp, racy, dry Pinot Gris with white stonefruit flavours. Match with seafood and poultry over the next 2-3 years. Fruit from the company’s Esk Valley vineyard, cool-fermented in tank to 13.0% alc. and 4.5 g/L RS, the wine aged on gross lees. 459 dozen made. 17.0/20 Nov 2015 RRP $25.00

  Full, even, dark ruby-red colour with black-purple hues. The nose is full, broad and voluminous with aromas of bright and ripe dark red cherry and berry fruit along with plum and liquorice notes, unfolding spicy oak with cedar and toast nuances. Harmoniously interwoven herbal layers emerge in the glass. Medium-bodied, the palate features full, up-front, rich and plush fruit flavours of dark red cherries and plums, entwined with liquorice, spicy oak and toast notes. The fruit is underlined by soft, grainy tannins and integrated acidity adds to the fruit softness and richness. The palate line unveils a subtle herbal note and the wine carries to an elegant, fresh finish with lacy acidity. This is an up-front, rich and juicy Pinot Noir with cherry, plum and spicy oak flavours. Match with Asian and Middle Eastern fare over the next 4-5 years.
