Melness Canterbury Pinot Noir 2015

20-Apr-2016
Melness Wines was established with a vineyard in Cust, North Canterbury by the Marshall family who released wines from the 1993 vintage. In 2005, the Marshalls retired, selling the business to Greg and Amanda Day of Kahurangi Estate in Nelson. The Days have retained the operation very much as it is, to ensure the same style of wines would be made. They have the same contract grape suppliers from Canterbury sites to the south to Burnham and to the north to Waipara. Sauvignon Blanc is also sourced from Marlborough. Here, I review the 2015 Canterbury Pinot Noir. www.kahurangiwine.com
