  Bright, pale cerise-pink colour with some depth, a little lighter on the rim. The nose is elegant and refreshing with aromas of strawberries and raspberries and cream with lifted red florals and a little confectionary, unfolding thirst-quenching mineral elements. Dryish to taste and medium-full bodied, the palate has bright, sweetly rich and luscious flavours of strawberries and raspberries and cream, with attractive, fragrant red florals entwined with lifted confectionary notes. The mouthfeel is lively with fresh acidity and the wine flows along a very fine-textured line with good drive, carrying to a sweet, aromatic finish. This is a bright, juicy and luscious strawberry and raspberry-fruited dryish rosé with floral and confectionary lift on a fresh palate. Serve with tapas and Asian fare over the next 2 years. Clones 777 and 667 from Chinamans Terrace, the fruit hand-picked, given 2 days skin contact, and cool-fermented to 13.7% alc. and 5.37 g/L RS. 250 cases made. 18.0/20 Dec 2018 RRP $27.00

  Bright, light straw-yellow colour, near colourless on the rim. The nose is elegantly proportioned with taut and finely packed aromas of white stonefruits and florals melded with soft nutty and mineral elements. The florals open up and the stonefruit and pear flavours intensify with aeration. Dry to taste and medium-full bodied, the palate has a fine, well-concentrated core of white and yellow stonefruits along with subtle notes of exotic florals and pears, entwined with subtle notes of exotic florals and pears, with nutty and mineral hints. The fruit has richness and is balanced by softly drying phenolic textures with integrated acidity, and the wine leads to a dry-textured finish. This is a finely concentrated dry Pinot Gris with stonefruit, floral and pear flavours on a fine-textured palate. Match with most white meat dishes over the next 3+ years. Hand-picked fruit from the ‘Home’ block and Chinamans Terrace, Bendigo, fermented in stainless-steel with 5% in barrel to 14.0% alc. and 3 g/L RS, the wine undergoing batonnage. 750 cases made. 18.0+/20 Dec 2018 RRP $27.00

  Brilliant, pale golden-yellow colour with lemon hues and some depth, a little lighter on the rim. The nose is finely proportioned with a core of white stonefruits along with hints of citrus fruit melded with a layer of nutty lees elements and subtle wet-stone minerality. This is fresh and mouth-watering. Medium-full bodied, the palate has lively and vibrantly rich flavours of succulently sweet white stonefruits and citrus fruits with a harmoniously entwined layering of nutty lees and subtle mineral elements. The palate has a softly fine texture that lends positive vinous presence and mouthfeel. The richness builds with subtle background acidity enlivening the mouthfeel. The wine carries to a fine-textured, elegant, lingering finish. This is a succulent and vibrant fruited Chardonnay with stonefruit, nutty and mineral flavours with good weight and presence. Match with seafood, poultry and pork over the next 4 years. Fruit from the Penniket’s ‘Minaret Peaks’ vineyard, Lake Wanaka, vines 25 y.o., indigenous yeast fermented in concrete egg to 14.0% alc., the wine not lees-stirred, nor going through MLF. 175 cases made..18.0/20 Dec 2018 RRP $32.00
