Konrad Wine Sampler

09-Dec-2010
Planting their first vines in 1996, the Hengstler family quickly made a reputation for very good value Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc. Over the years, Riesling, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir have joined the stable, also offering real value. But the claim to fame appears to now be the astoundingly good sweet wines, made from Riesling, and often with Sauvignon Blanc blended in. Konrad Hengstler continues to innovate and his first Gruner Veltliner has been released. www.konradwines.co.nz
