Isabel Marlborough Pinot Noir 2012

19-Jun-2014
The Isabel Vineyard of Michael and Robyn Tiller, in Renwick, is one of the earliest established and best sited in Marlborough. The quality of fruit came to prominence early on when award winning wines acknowledged their source being the Tillers’ site. The Tiller family launched their own Isabel label with a 1994 Pinot Noir which earned critical recognition, and ever since, the Isabel Pinot Noir has maintained a following for its elegant and stylish expression. The vineyard is under the care of Brad Tiller and the winemaking by Carlos Orgiles, family members, and here, I review their 2012 Pinot Noir. www.isabelvineyard.com
