  Bright, very pale straw colour with slight green hues, near colourless on the rim. The nose is full and voluminous with fresh aromas of passionfruit entwined with fresh herbs, snow peas and lifted white florals. The aromatics are quite mouthwatering. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is finely proportioned with gently sweet and luscious passionfruit flavours intermingling with snow peas, fresh herbs, gooseberries and nettle notes. The mouthfeel is soft with light, drying phenolic textures and balanced, thirst-quenching acidity. This has tension and linearity, and the wine leads to a soft, passionfruity finish with light, drying textures. This is a gently luscious, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with snow pea and nettle notes, and a soft, textural, dry palate with mouthwatering acidity.   Dark, deep, purple-hued black-red colour, a little lighter edged, youthful in appearance. The nose is elegantly concentrated and firmly bound with aromas of savoury black plums, blackberries and subtle layers of blackcurrants and herbs. Some iron-earth, savoury spice and cedar elements emerge with aeration. Medium-bodied, well-bound flavours of savoury black plums and blackberry fruit show with earthy notes, dark herbs and curranty fruit, along with cedary oak. The palate is grainy textured lending a dry, tannic mouthfeel. Fresh, lacy acidity provides underlying tension and drive, and sweet fruit notes unfold through the extraction and carry to a lingering finish of plums and herbs. This is a sweet-fruited Merlot/Cabernet with savoury dark plum and berry flavours, earthy and cedary detail and a dry mouthfeel with underlying acid liveliness. Match with herb-marinated game meat over the next 4+ years.
