  Bright, pale straw-yellow colour with light lemon-green hues, pale edged. The nose is upfront with voluminous aromas of fresh and bright passionfruit, lime and green capsicum aromas enlivened by mouthwatering mineral elements. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is elegant in proportion with a finely concentrated core of sweet passionfruit, lime and capsicum flavours with nettly detail. Fresh, lacy acidity balances the fruit richness and brightens the mouthfeel, driving the palate along a fine phenolic line. The flavours carry through to a refreshing finish with fruit succulence. This is an elegant, sweet, passionfruity Sauvignon Blanc with a refreshing mouthfeel. Serve as an aperitif, with seafood, and salads and vegetables over the next 2 years.   Bright, light straw-yellow colour with a suggestion of pale gold, lighter edged. The nose is elegantly expressed with light, tightly bound and clear aromas of stonefruits with a subtle flinty layer, unfolding nutty elements and complexing oxidative detail. Medium-bodied, the palate possesses a concentrated core of white stonefruits and citrus fruits along with subtle nutty oak and fine, flinty detail. The wine follows a grainy-textured phenolic line, with fresh acidity enlivening the mouthfeel, and some underlying alcoholic drive lending power. This is dry in expression, but unfolds gently rich and sweet fruit flavours on the finish. This is a dry and tightly concentrated Chardonnay with stonefruit and nutty flavours. It will develop greater richness over the next 4 years. Match with most white meat dishes. Clones 95 and 15 from the ‘Morison’ and ‘Hope’ vineyards barrel-fermented to 13.4% alc., the wine aged 6 months in 12% new French oak with batonnage and partial MLF.   Clones 114, 667, 22, 5, 777, 115 and Abel from the ‘Hope’ and ‘Morison’ vineyards, vines 11-23 y.o., fully destemmed and fermented to 14.0% alc., the wine aged 12 months in 34% new French oak. Moderately dark ruby-red colour with some depth, and light purple hues on edge. The nose is very fine and elegantly concentrated with pure and fragrant aromas of dark red berry and cherry fruit entwined with violet florals, unfolding suggestions of dark herbs an liquorice in the glass. Medium-bodied,the palate features a rounded, concentrated core of dark red cherry ad berry fruit melded with dark herbs and violet florals, along with nuances of liquorice. The fruit is supported by supple tannin extraction and balanced acidity enhancing the sweetness. Some alcoholic drive underlines the fruit, carrying it to a long, concentrated, dry finish with floral and liquorice notes. This is a finely concentrated Pinot Noir with a core of cherry and berry fruit lifted by violet florals. Match with poultry and pork, and Asian fare over the next 5 years. 18.0/20 Feb 2016 RRP $28.00

  Fruit from the ‘Hope Vineyard’ 70% WBP and 30% given 30 hours skin contact, the wine barrel-fermented in 20% new oak with indigenous yeast to 14.0% alc. Brilliant straw-yellow colour, lighter edged. The nose is rich with deep and complex aromas of spicy greengages, nectarines and gooseberries entwined with nuances of nuts and smoke. This is restrained and stylish in expression. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the palate is tightly concentrated with a core of green stonefruits, spicy gooseberries and nutty oak detail. The palate has good tension and drive with balanced acid freshness and a fine-textured, firm line. The fruit carries to a long, lingering finish of green stonefruits, herbs and smoke. This is stylishly concentrated oak-influenced Sauvignon Blanc with complexing detail and fine-textured linearity. Match with herb-marinated poultry and pork dishes over the next 3+ years.   73% Pinot Blanc and 27% Pinot Gris from the ‘Hope’ vineyard, co-fermented with indigenous yeasts to 14.0% alc. and <3 g/L RS, the wine aged 14 months in seasoned French oak puncheons. Bright straw-yellow colour with light golden hues, pale on the rim. The bouquet is moderately deep with softly concentrated aromas of savoury white and yellow stonefruits, harmoniously melded with gentle layers of nuts, flints and minerals, unfolding nuances of oxidative detail. The aromas are subtle in expression. Dry to taste and medium-bodied, the flavours of savoury white stonefruits are integrated with subtle layers of nuts, earth and minerals, forming a concentrated core. The fruit is expressed with restraint, and the palate follows a grainy-textured line with some phenolic dryness and grip. Soft acidity enhances the rounded mouthfeel and presence, and the palate leads to a sweet-fruited, textural finish. This is a dry Pinot Blanc with restrained, savoury stonefruit flavours with good mouthfeel and grip.   Brilliant, light straw-yellow colour with light golden hues, lighter edged. The nose is harmoniously packed with rich and ripe citrus and yellow stonefruit aromas entwined with mealy and nutty layers and waves of creamy barrel-ferment and MLF complexities that build in intensity and depth with aeration. Medium-bodied, the palate features vibrantly bright and succulent flavours of ripe citrus and yellow stonefruits entwined with mealy elements and nutty oak, and enriched with harmoniously integrated lemon curd and butterscotch MLF. The mouthfeel is creamy in texture from the barrel-fermentation, but balanced by fine acidity and subtle phenolics. The wine flows smoothly with good energy, leading to a long, creamy, nutty finish. This is a rich and succulent, lively Chardonnay with complex layers of citrus fruits, nutty oak and creamy barrel-ferment and MLF flavours.
