Gewurztraminer is a Goer for Saint Clair

The Saint Clair winery produces some of New Zealand's most distinctive, high quality Sauvignon Blancs. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir have performed creditably too, and it is pleasing to see the expertise with other varieties grown. It could be said that everything the Ibbotson family and Matt Thomson's team touch turns to gold, as is the case with Gewurztraminer, one of the most difficult varieties to succeed with. It was instructive to re-taste this multi-trophy and gold medal winning wine with a little age on it. www.saintclair.co.nz
