Fiddler’s Green 2015 Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Riesling

21-Jul-2016
The Fiddler’s Green brand has had a chequered history since it was established by the Johns family with a 13.36 ha vineyard on Georges Road in the Waipara Valley in 1994. The wines always showed the quality of the vineyard. Last year, Ross Trowsdale and Clare Bisso of Dancing Water and Floating Mountain acquired the Fiddler’s Green label to increase their branding presence in the market. The 2015 Fiddler’s Green wines have been made at Sherwood Estate who commercialise the Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir. Here, I review the 2015 white wines made by Sherwood Estate. www.fiddlersgreen.co.nz
