Dunnolly Estate ‘Reserve’ Waipara Chardonnay 2016

26-May-2017
Dunnolly Estate is the Waipara Valley winegrowing venture of the Parish family who purchased a 10 ha block of land on Church Road in 1995, planting 72 rows of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in 1996. The Parish family introduced their own label wine with the 2009 vintage and now make single vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from their vineyard. The Parish family make wine for Naked Wines Australia, this comprising a significant part of the business. In 2016 they added a Pinot Gris to the portfolio made from purchased Waipara Valley fruit, and launched a non-estate fruit label called ’72 Rows’. Here, I review the 2016 Dunnolly Estate ‘Reserve’ Chardonnay. www.dunnolly.co.nz
