Dragon Bones Waitaki Valley 2014 Pinot Gris and 2013 Riesling

25-May-2016
The ‘Dragon Bones’ label was introduced by Peter and Teresa Wutz of Lone Hill Vineyard in the Waitaki Valley with the 2013 vintage, a Pinot Gris and Riesling being released. The name is based on their daughter’s name for fossils in the hills behind their vineyard. The wines are made by Dean Shaw at COWCO in Cromwell. Here, I review the 2014 Pinot Gris, and re-look at the Riesling 2013. www.lonehill.co.nz
