Domaine Rewa 2014 Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir

30-Jan-2017
Inspired by the wines of Burgundy, Domaine Rewa was established in 1997 by Philippa Fourbet when she planted Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and Riesling in her 5.5 ha ‘Epicurious’ vineyard in Lowburn. The vineyard is tended by Grant Rolston and Gary Ford of Vinewise who employ biodynamic regimes. Philippa has Pete Bartle of VinPro as her winemaker, the first Domaine Rewa wines from the 2011 vintage. The production remains small with around 800 cases made annually. Here, I review the 2014 Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. www.domainerewa.com
