domaineDomaine Lafage was established in 1996 by Jean-Marc Lafage whose family had been growing grapes in Roussillon bordering the Pyrenees and Spain in southern France for six generations. The domaine has around 200 ha of vines in the mountains of Roussillon across various districts and appellations, including the 40 ha of Chateau Saint-Roch in Maury. Old vines are the focus, and the wines reflect the Mediterranean climate and geography. www.domaine-lafage.com The wines are imported into New Zealand by Wine Direct. www.winedirect.co.nz
