  Bright, light straw-yellow with a slight lime-green hue, even throughout. The bouquet is fresh and full of vitality, nuances of lime, grapefruit along with its zest, melded with fragrances of orange blossom, honey, crunchy mineral and a light petroleum underlay. Medium-light bodied, flavours of lime, grapefruit and zest has a good core, along with orange blossom, lime flower, flows with crushed rock minerals and honey to a lengthy, refreshing finish. The acidity is racy, flows with great freshness and energy, carries the citrus flavours and mineral through the palate; a little dose of sugar sweetness balanced out the lively acidity leaves a smooth and round-edged mouthfeel. The wine is fresh and showing its vitality with a lively acid line and a concentrated fruit core with good intensity. Match with Korean fried chicken and Baja-style fish over the next 5-7 years.   Bright, light straw-yellow with some depth, even throughout. The bouquet is fragranced with aromas of tropical pineapple, gooseberries, nettle, subtle underlying spices and savoury element. Medium-bodied, pineapple and subtle gooseberries melded with nettle and savoury tone; prickly spices lingers to a sustained finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and round-edged, flows with gentle yet vibrant acidity carries savoury minerals and prickly spices. The barrel used and lees stirring added to the creamy mouthfeel, along with a light layer of phenolic coating, interweaved a dusting of spices. This is a savoury Sauvignon Blanc with flavours of tropical fruit, nettle on a creamy and mineral flow. Match with pork croquette and Cioppino over the next 3-5 years. Handpicked, a portion whole-bunches pressed and the rest destemmed. Fermented in a mixture of stainless steel, older French oak barriques and one new barrique to 13.5% alc, 2.9 g/l RS.   Bright, ruby-red with some depth, very slightly lighter on the rim. The nose is elegant and poises with well-proportioned nuances of wild thyme, deep florals, minerals along with red berries and black cherries. Medium-full bodied, dark herbs, tree bark, savouriness has taken its centre, unfolding toasty oak, tobacco, cherries and subtle spices on the finish. The palate is savoury and dry, an ample extraction of fine-grained tannin is silky, coating the palate with a fragrant Pu-er tea scent and feel. The fruit is ripe and has good intensity; lacy acidity provides balance and lifts the mouthfeel with some brightness. Youthful in appearance with a prominent tannin structure will benefit from further ageing or decanting when served. Handpicked, destemmed, fermented in stainless steel tanks to 13.5% alc. Aged in French oak barriques for 10 months, 27% new. 18/20 pts Aug 2020 RRP $40
