Daniel Brennan took a sip of a Martinborough Pinot Noir in Philidelphia which inspired him to travel to NZ penniless to pursue winemaking. Daniel attended EIT in Hawkes Bay and was given a chance to purchase a small amount of Hawke's Bay Malbec thus Decibel was created.
Daniel creates wines with classic practices, minimal intervention, and wines with a community-based attitude. He hopes to create wines that will open to the idea of an adventure.
Beautiful labels stood out from the crowd and the content is worth seeking out.
