Concha y Toro ‘Casillero del Diablo’ ‘Reserva’ Carmenere 2014

17-May-2016
Established in 1883, the Chilean ‘Concha y Toro’ wine brand is one of the world’s greatest and most respected. The ‘Casillero de Diablo’ (Devil’s Cellar) tier was created by founder Don Melchor in response to his cellar being pilfered and the legend that his cellar was haunted by the devil stopped that. Today the ‘Casillero de Diablo’ labels are stalwarts for the wines of Chile. www.casilleodeldiablo.com Here, I review the new 2015 Carmenere. The Concha y Toro wines are distributed in New Zealand by EuroVintage www.eurovintage.co.nz
