Codorniu, Bodegas Fontana and Vina Zaco Spanish Wines from Mineral

08-Apr-2015
Mineral Wine is a boutique distribution business that is active with a selected range of imported wines to complement its portfolio of New Zealand wines. The Spanish offerings are diverse and provide styles to fill niches in the market. Here, I review six wines. Two are from Codorniu, one of the giants of Cava sparkling wine production; there are two wines from Bodegas Fontana, a modern producer in the Ucles region, this firm having the input of Sam Harrop MW, and two ‘Vina Zaco’ Rioja wines from Bodegas Bilbainas, based in Haro. www.mineralwine.co.nz
