Three Bridges is the premium label of Calabria Family Wines, a third-generation family winegrowing business based in the Griffith region of the Riverina, N.S.W. Although the Riverina is promoted by the Calabrias as a premium growing region, they also source fruit from the Barossa Valley. The ‘Tree Bridges’ brand encompasses this fruit. The wines have proven to be strong performers in the New Zealand market for Paul Wai Poi of CPP Wines based on their quality and good value, and successive vintages have been brought in. Here, I review the 2015 Durif, and Barossa Valley Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon wines. They all share the family character of very sweet and richly ripe black fruits enhanced by cedary oak. www.calabriawines.com.au For availability, contact Paul Wai Poi Tel: 09 360-2854 or Email: [email protected]
