Barons and Potter ‘Empress’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 2016

12-Dec-2016
The negotiant wine label ‘Barons and Potter’ began as a collaboration between Angela and Chris Barons, Napier hoteliers who also run the New Zealand Wine Centre, and friends Roy and Barbara Potter. After working with a number of quality boutique wine producers, the created their own label from contracted fruit, the wines made by selected winemakers. The first releases were made from fruit from Crab Farm by Hamish Jardine (click here to see my reviews), but the intention is to include wines from other regions. Here I review the new 2016 ‘Empress’ Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc made by Hugh Girling. www.baronsandpotter.co.nz
