Anchorage Wines – Safe Haven from Motueka

23-Mar-2011
The Drummond family have been pioneers in horticulture and agriculture in the Motueka district of Nelson since the 1800s, but planted vines in 2000, with the first wines coming from the 2003 vintage. The Anchorage wines are made from 40 ha of own vineyards supplemented by fruit from leased vineyards. Integral with the Drummond family is winemaker Justin Papesch, who was involved from the first vintage. These are well-made wines that are safe and sure buys. www.anchoragewines.co.nz
