  Bright, light straw-yellow colour, a little paler on the rim. This has a fresh, light nose with attractively aromatic yellow stonefruit and honeysuckle notes, along with a suggestion of rose-petal florals. The aromas grow in volume with aeration. Dryish to taste and medium-bodied, the palate possesses light white and yellow stonefruit flavours with subtle floral and honeysuckle notes. The mouthfeel is lively, crisp and refreshing, the fruit sweetness balanced by lacy acidity. The wine follows a fine phenolic thread which leads to a moderately sustained finish with restrained stonefruit and honeysuckle flavours. This is a light, off-dry Pinot Gris with stonefruit and honeysuckle flavours and a fresh palate. Match with Asian fare over the next 2-3 years. Pinot Gris fruit cool and moderately cool-fermented to 13.0% alc. and 5.2 g/L RS, the wine aged several months on gross lees. 16.5+/20 Aug 2016 RRP $17.50

  Very dark, deep, purple-hued ruby-red colour, youthful in appearance. The nose is tight and firmly concentrated with aromas of lifted dark red berry and black cherry fruit melded with dark herbs and stalk notes, unfolding nuances of spice and pepper. The fruit is in the cooler spectrum but has intensity. Light-medium bodied, the fruit flavours are bright, fresh and piquant with lifted bitter black cherries and dark red berry fruits, entwined with fresh herbs and stalk nuances. The fruit is supported by plenty of tannin extraction, the textures fine-grained and flowery, with softly integrated acidity. The wine is carried by the structure to a bitter black cherry and herb-nuanced finish with some grip. This is a tightly concentrated Dolcetto with black cherry and dark-red berry fruit with cool-spectrum herb and stalk notes and a well-structured, fine-textured palate. Serve with herb-marinated lamb and beef dishes over the next 4 years.
