Michael Finucane and Roz Walker have been making Martinborough wines since 1996. They operate a 5 ha vineyard on Hinakura Road, planted to Pinot Noir, Merlot and recently planted, some Chardonnay, and make their wines on-site at their modern cellar-door and winery complex built in 2014. The Pinot Noirs have taken a leap forward with their own winery, and I have also a step up with the Merlot. Here, I review the new release ‘Raumati’ Pinot Noir Rose 2018.
