Why do you not publish reviewed wines assessed less than 3 stars in your ‘Feature Reviews’?
What happens to wines you rate less than 3 stars?
Reviews of wines scored less than 3 star are sent to suppliers as confidential feedback. These reviews will only be published if I am instructed.
What are the advantages of submitting a wine for ‘Featured Reviews’?
Can wines be reviewed without paying the fee?
Wines can be sent for assessment without incurring the ‘Featured Review’ fee. However, feedback will be prioritised for ‘Featured Reviews’. If rated 3 stars or more, the reviews will be added directly into the website database for public access.
Are wines tasted and reviewed according to a scheduled calendar with set dates for themed styles, varieties or categories?
I prioritise, order and taste the wines as they arrive. There are usually a good number of wines to allow tasting any wine in the company of peers or with similar styles at any one time, thus allowing comparisons. This also allows a quicker turn-around time with more prompt feedback to the wine supplier.
