Bright, light golden straw-yellow colour, this has a full, soft nose of ripe, yellow stonefruits with some flinty lees work and subtle oak backing, the elements well-integrated. On palate this is full-bodied with ripe citrus, tropical and stonefruit flavours, along with mealy, nutty oak stylishly presented. The wine is softly textured, but still shows good acidity, the flavours carry through to a moderately long finish. Certified organic and biodynamic fruit from the Opou Vineyard, barrel-fermented to 13.5% alc. with indigenous yeasts and matured in 20% new French oak, undergoing partial MLF. Match with poultry and pork dishes over the next 3-5 years. 18.0-/20 Jun 2011 RRP $26.00
