17+/20
Bright, purple-hued pink colour with some depth, lighter on
the rim and youthful in appearance. This
has a softly full and rich nose with aromas of raspberries and cream, showing
good depth and presence, unfolding subtle red florals, herbs and confectionary
detail with aeration. Dry to taste and
medium-full bodied, the palate is full, soft and rounded with concentrated
flavours of raspberries and cream and an array of red berry fruits entwined
with savoury herbal nuances. The wine is
soft-textured and smooth-flowing with integrated, underlying acidity providing
freshness, energy and lift to the fruit.
This has weight and vinosity, and the wine carries to a soft, mellow
finish with flavours of red berry fruits, herbs and lifted confectionary
elements. This is a full, soft and
rounded dry rosé
with good presence of raspberry and cream flavours intermixed with herbal
nuances. Seve with antipasto and tapas
over the next 18 months to 2 years. A
blend of 80% Merlot, 10% Syrah, 8% Malbec and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon from the
‘Shepherds Point’, ‘Mudbrick’ and ‘Goldie’ vineyards, 100% saignee and
indigenous yeast fermented in stainless-steel to 14.0% alc. and 1.28 g/L
RS. 357 cases made. 17.0+/20
