Operating from Petone in Wellington, the company has many loyal customers throughout the country. The website is quite interactive and has the ability to take customers’ feedback on the wines. Todo Loco Utiel-Requena Crianza 2013

Tempranillo from Spain

Even, dark ruby-red colour with slight garnet hues, paler on the edge. The nose is elegant in proportion with some depth and penetration, showing aromas of dark cherry and berry fruit and an amalgam of fresh and dark herbs, with spicy and nutty notes. Medium-bodied, the palate has a sweet and fruity core of dark red cherry and berry fruit, and subtle notes of herbs and spices. The fruit is moderately rich and ripe, and is underlined by light, balancing grainy tannins with integrated acidity. This has good balance and linearity, and the flavours lead to a light, lingering finish. A blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, from Utiel-Requena, Valencia, fermented to 12.5% alc., the wine aged in oak. 15.5/20 Aug 2017 RRP $13.99

Blended Red from Spain

Moderately deep, garnet-hued red colour, lighter in the edge. The nose is soft and gently concentrated with a rounded core of dark-red berry fruit entwined with nuances of dark herbs and curranty elements, subtle spice notes and some cedary oak. The aromatics ae harmonious ind integrated. Medium-full bodied, the palate possesses rich and sweet flavours of dark-red berry fruits along with ripe curranty notes and dark herbs, unfolding spices and cedary oak. The flavours are integrating and beginning to develop mature secondary notes. The fruit is supported by light, grainy tannins and the palate has good energy, unfolding spice and cedary notes that carry to the finish. This is a sweet-fruited, moderately rich, Valencia red blend with harmonious flavours and cedary oak on a light, grainy-textured palate. Match with casseroles and slow-cooked game meat over the next 3+ years. A blend of 40% Bobal, 30% Tempranillo, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah and 5% Garnacha, from Uiel-Requena, Valencia, fermented to 13.0% alc., the wine aged 12 months in oak. 16.0+/20 Aug 2017 RRP $15.99

Chingol Valle Central Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile

Dark, deep ruby-red colour with slight purple hues, youthful in appearance. The nose is elegantly and harmoniously presented with light aromas of blackcurrants and blackberry fruit, along with fresh and dark herbs, savoury green olives and a leafy hint. Medium-bodied, the palate is fresh and vibrant with bright, upfront blackcurrant fruit entwined with fresh herbs, a little leafiness and a hint of stalk. The fruit is supported by light, grainy tannin structure and grip, and the mouthfeel has brisk acidity lending energy and drive. The flavours carry with dome grip and cut to a lingering finish with herbal elements. This is an up-front, bright and lively Cabernet Sauvignon with coolish blackcurrant, herb and leaf flavours on a brisk, slightly grippy finish. Full, even dark ruby-red colour. The nose is elegantly presented and finely composed with interwoven aroma of blackcurrant leaf, blackcurrant fruit, dark and fresh herbs, and suggestions of stalk and stem. The aromatics are gentle and harmoniously melded. Medium-full bodied, the palate has an elegant and moderately concentrated core of curranty fruit along with mint and soft, dark herbs and a little leafiness and stalk. The flavours are harmoniously entwined, and balanced by light, fine-gained tannin extraction and integrated acidity. The wine has good linearity and flows to a lingering finish of herbs and leaf, enlivened by a kick of acidity. This is a harmonious and integrated Carmenere with light, curranty, herb and leafy fruit and fine tannin structure with a fresh mouthfeel. Match with herb-marinated lamb and beef dishes over the next 3-4 years. Carmenere fruit fermented to 13.5% alc. 16.0+/20 Aug 2017 RRP $17.99
