Clearwater Cove 2017 and 2016 Releases

13 November,2017

Made by the Yealands Wine Group, the ‘Clearwater Cove’ brand is one of value wines with a broad range of varietals and styles, made from fruit sourced primarily from Marlborough vineyards, but also from Hawke’s Bay and other regions in the country. Exports account for a significant amount of the production and sales, but there is a strong presence in retail in this country. The winemaker is Jeff Fyfe, and the wines are regularly well-awarded at wine competitions. Here, I review the 2017 Rosé and Sauvignon Blanc, the 2016 Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot. www.clearwatercove.co.nz
